Ah, now this is one is pretty interesting. As a reviewer who promised to review one thousand anime and to watch every anime released in a single lineup, there are a lot of crap that I force myself to like. As a huge fan of anime, I really want to give everything a chance. Now, I actually enjoy watching bad anime because I can go on a hate filled rant in my reviews. Of course, as some who tries to be impartial, I am also doing my best to sell the anime to my readers. This involves truly digging deep and finding something positive to like in an anime you truly do not like. Do that a couple of times and you basically develop a love for those disfigured type of anime. I have a couple of anime I really hate with all the fiber of my being but I am ashamed to like simple because they exist. They tell me that their existence is a great example of how anime can be diverse and entertaining in more ways than one.
For this one, I’ll make it simple. I’ll list down just five anime I am ashamed to like. This is me dialing it back down a notch. I’ll just list five shows that I have seen in its entirety, absolutely detest it then came back to it later and then found it interesting. They are not in any particular ranking. I equally hate them all and I am equally ashamed for having a piece of me actually finding it interesting to watch. Please be advised though, curiosity will kill the cat for this one. These anime are something I do not recommend in any life time and I would not even give this to my worst enemy. The show I give to my worst enemy is Harmageddon because it is truly sh*t.
Alright then, lengthy introductions aside, let’s start this list.
This is a low budget anime that aired its first episode in a Japanese channel. The next week, it was pulled off of broadcast because it is pretty dirty. This is an Ecchi anime but it involves an all-female cast. There are no one falling on top of somebody, no one to accidentally see naked in the bathroom and no one blushingly offering their virginity to a lucky male protagonist. No, these are just girls just being girls. By that I mean the show is loaded with vag**a jokes. This is not just Ecchi. This is also a toilet humor anime so jokes are really dirty, as in a bus stop restroom with a toilet bowl that doesn’t flush, and shockingly stupid. The most jarring thing is that the characters are the type of girls that prefer to sit with their legs open so this is really just one unpleasant anime. I think the first episode alone where a girl came to school with no panties and another girl having a close up of her vag**a is enough to turn anybody off.
And yet, I f*cking find it fun to watch this show. I think I killed a lot of brain cells watching the anime. The low budget presentation with the crappy story and toilet humor female genital jokes is tough to stomach but I think it’s not surprising that I am f*cked up enough to sit through all that. I actually tried to search for the manga after I finished the anime and it’s even worse. Good gawd, this anime should be wiped from existence.
This show is pretty sensible. It’s about a girl that gets a crown then becomes a princess and things just turn ridiculous as it progresses. I enjoyed this anime when it aired in Animax because it is colorful, fast paced and funny. When I re-watched it again, I was surprised to find out the entire anime is just stupid. It makes no sense and I think that was the appeal. The whole thing is just one massive waste of time though as the jokes make absolutely no sense, the progression is just dumb and the entire experience is just utterly retarded. I think I just took the anime too seriously but I was also a bit baffled to know that I actually watched this anime and sat through all of it. I couldn’t last one episode when I re-watched it. It had good characters but it’s just so dumb, what the hell was I thinking enjoying this anime? I think the monkey putting on the crown and turning the kingdom into a monkey themed country was a clear sign this anime is just stupid.
A dog in a school uniform.
I do get the appeal of this show. It’s a dog in a school uniform and the characters just don’t see it except for one of her friends. The episodes are short often just poking fun of the fact that we have a dog in a school uniform. The fact that one character shares the audience’s sentiment that the whole thing is stupid is actually a brilliant thing. There’d be episodes where the dog just acts like any high school girl talking about normal girl things and then you’d just be weirded out knowing that she is actually a dog in a school uniform. I am very much ashamed of liking this anime. I really hate myself for knowing that I like this anime. Every day I wake up in a pool of my own regret for also liking the opening sequence of this gawd forsaken anime.
This anime is just an exercise of indecency. The anime is all about everything dirty from girls being naked to every other kind of staple Ecchi trope but it knob is turned way up where almost every scene is dirty and every character is perverted. I am a shamed of this anime because absolutely no one else I know can stomach the show. It’s not the worst Ecchi anime out there but people I know who have seen the show really hate it. I am now this quiet person who likes something most people consider too indecent to even bother with. I must admit that it really is too intense to like but, I dunno, I guess I’m f*cked up enough to like it.
Any self-respecting guy would be ashamed of liking something like this. I don’t have to explain it. Just watch the video and then realize you are now dirty people for letting those male sexy hips hypnotize you. When I first saw this anime, my jaw dropped and then I just quietly left the room as if nothing happened. After downing a cup of coffee, I watched the whole show in one weekend and I quite like it. Male pop idols trying to be famous are one thing but those sexy voice actor voices and those sexy hips really push a button for me. I’m going to stop now.
