The list is complete.
The countdown will begin next week.
It’s going to be hell so I thought I’d just do some random fun before my hell begins. I remember the previous list breaking me so I can already tell this one will be even tougher. Anyways, here’s a detailed look at my experience compiling the list. Let me share to you the wonderful time I had with this little community project of mine.
Sunday (Jan 19)
I procrastinated long enough with the list so I decided to slow down my activity on my wordpress site to focus on the list. It starts out easy with the top ten being easily filled within minutes.
I’m awesome.
Monday
The deaths/sad moments are ranked.
It’s easy enough since you just have to go to youtube and watch the moment. Most death scenes and sad moments are all in youtube so this was still an easy task.
Tuesday
What’s this? An anime I don’t know about. No problem, I’ll just to youtube and watch the moment.
Eh, it’s not there. Oh my, what ever will I do?
Wednesday
It took a day to torrent the anime so I decided on filling up the middle portion of the list. This was hard. Two moments feels like they belong on the same number.
Some moments don’t feel like they deserve to be in the list itself. It’s MyIGN’s list, I said to myself and just keep filing up the list.
Thursday
My internet connection disappeared. It’ll come back tomorrow.
Friday
I’ve procrastinated too long, I started playing pokemon.
Saturday
I was able to rank more anime and the list looks pretty solid from the 60s up. Then I soon realize that I was running out of shows to put in the list.
It’s not like I don’t have enough but some are too obscure and some are just impossible to find.
No, you can’t put an entire show as a moment. We already did that last year, gawd.
Sunday
I see some inconsistency in the list and try to fix it.
After fixing it, I noticed the order of the 60s up is not good so I took it apart and rearranged it.
After fixing it again, I noticed I ranked some moments too high so I took them off. There are now missing moments in the supposedly finished portion of the list.
I ran out of significant anime to consider for the spot.
The list overwhelmed me.
Monday
With my job, the list and being TPAB, I soon felt the walls coming in.
Tuesday
I’ve lost my mind.
Wednesday
I noticed that some numbers talks of the same moment. The 160 moments minus the moments with the whole show, identical moments and some moments too technical to add to the list, it is reduced to 152 restricting the choices I have.
I decided to add my own moments in the list to fill in some gaps.
Thursday
I’ve debated to add Boku no Pico in the list because I hate you all.
I decided not to.
I’ve debated to add Sono Hanabira ni Kuchizuke wo: Anata to Koibito Tsunagi.
I decided not to.
Friday
I have played out the scenarios and concluded that I can’t finish this list.
I’ve been defeated.
Two hours later, the list is completed. I decided to write this blog.
I’ll be sleeping afterwards and then start on the countdown.
The list will come out next week.
Stay tuned.
